            Is it for you  ?

Life was simple before World War II. After that, we had systems.

Information technology become really complex. To start your tech carrier in information technology will be like  picking the right book you needed from a vast array of books that spans different subjects. So let us play the role of a good librarian so that you can pick the right  book.

Cisco routing is a nice carrier path. but there is no easy way to reach there , as some one said ' there is no elevators to success  , you have to take the stairs so first step towards a carrier in internetworking is a solid knowledge about the intricate details of the inside components of a computer system. that means you have to start your training session from a long or short  term session on practical hardware training. It includes knowledge of integrating systems of various makes and models , identifying all the components and installation of all the major peripheral  devices and a sound knowledge of the installation , configuration and troubleshooting of various operating systems used.

Once you armed yourself with knowledge of  hardware troubleshooting , next step is on networking. let us explain two terms here.

as you are already aware networking is interconnection of two or more computers and they are interconnected so that we ca share the data's and resources. So how you are going to define Internetworking ?

according to wikipedia definition " Internetworking involves connecting two or more computer networks via gateways using a common routing technology. The result is called an internetwork"

So it obvious that for starting your internetworking study you must have a sound knowledge of normal networking concepts and implementation. it will be better if you have a good knowledge of cable systems , network card configuration and server management of a Microsoft network  in a TCP/IP environment.

So that means you have to spend few months of your training period mastering the basic hardware and Microsoft networking skills before you start your Cisco internetworking course. Even if you don't have the hardware or networking skills you can pass the examination thanks to the brain dump questions available in internet. But as we said previously passing the exam alone will not make you a Cisco professional.
